The experience and diversity of our Raine & Horne executive team is paramount to the success of our organisation.

Angus Raine – Executive Chairman

Angus Raine joined Raine & Horne in 1998 after working outside the family business for many years. In 2004 he was appointed Head of Specialist Networks, in 2006 he became General Manager NSW/ACT and in 2007 he was appointed CEO, before moving into the role of Executive Chairman in 2015. His experience traverses all sectors of the industry, with significant experience in the commercial arena. Angus is a graduate of Harvard Business School, he is a licensed Real Estate Agent, a certified Auctioneer and a Registered Real Estate Valuer. He is also regarded as one Australia’s foremost real estate industry authorities.

Brian Reid – Chief Executive Officer

Brian has had extensive experience in the real estate sector having worked with a number of major national franchise networks. In addition to his franchise background, he has held several board positions and has acted as consultant to industry related organisations in both property and finance. As Chief Executive Officer, Brian is focused on building on the successful realignment that commenced with Raine & Horne’s rebrand in late 2011, through an increasing focus on the services, marketing tools and support Raine & Horne offices need. As such, Brian has responsibility for further expanding the reach of the Raine & Horne brand both nationally and internationally.

Paul Sinclair – National IT & Strategy Manager

Paul Sinclair has more than 20 years of experience in IT in a career that spans enterprise IT strategy, IT management consulting, enterprise and solution architectures, application development, infrastructure management and service management. Paul has worked with government, commercial and service organisations and contributed to the development of IT and people management strategies as well as enterprise and major program architectures. Paul’s experience in education has made him an extremely effective trainer. Paul holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Graduate Diploma in Applied Computing, Graduate Diploma of Teaching, ITIL foundation and is a certified IT architect.

Steve Worrad, General Manager, Raine & Horne QLD

After a successful sales career, Steve established his own real estate agencies in Sydney and later on the NSW northern rivers. Following the move to a corporate role with a major franchise group he was responsible for the dramatic growth in new business both in offices and salespeople. Over that period the network increased dramatically, resulting in a major improvement in market share and revenue. Following this success, Steve accepted further responsibility and subsequently became General Manager for a national franchise network where he introduced a number of new initiates which resulted in a dramatic improvement in the networks profile and overall profit. Steve brings a wealth of experience to the R&H network where he will continue to, not only grow the business, but work with the existing corporate team and network to ensure that the business become more profitable through growth in sales volumes and rentals, retention of staff and introduction of proven systems.

Glenn Grantham – General Manager, Raine & Horne Darwin

Glenn commenced his real estate career in WA, working in residential sales before he was recruited to Raine & Horne in 2004 to run the Applecross office in central Perth. As licensee, Glenn built a team focused on strong real estate systems, and within two years the office was turning over 10 times its original sales figures and had doubled the size of its residential property management portfolio. Glenn later moved into the role of Director of Franchise Services for Raine & Horne WA, where he delivered business coaching and training, before relocating to the Top End in 2008 as the General Manager of Raine & Horne Darwin. In this role, Glenn has been responsible for delivering and implementing a range of successful systems, ensuring Raine & Horne Darwin ranks among the company’s Top Ten offices on a consistent basis.

Ilyse Elphick – Assistant General Manager, Raine & Horne Darwin

Ilyse began her career in real estate in 1997, and has held positions across the property spectrum, from sales, to property management and financial management. In 2002 Ilyse joined a new real estate office in Darwin and assisted in building the business from the ground up, going on to become a director of the company as well as office manager. After several years of business success the company was sold to Raine & Horne Darwin, where Ilyse immediately made her mark on the processes and policies of Raine & Horne Darwin, ensuring it became a smoothly and efficiently-run business. Ilyse was rapidly promoted to Assistant General Manager before the age of 30, and today specialises in the clerical side of the business while she has also assumed control of the property management department, which handles over 1,000 managements.

 

Amber Drummond – Franchise Services Manager, Raine & Horne SA 

Having worked in real estate for 12 years, Amber’s work ethic, innovation and commitment to generating results for her team members has seen her achieve a range of senior positions in property and office management. As an example, prior to her appointment with Raine & Horne SA, Amber held the role of Trust Account Administrator for one of SA’s oldest and most well-known eastern suburbs agencies. Amber’s first-hand real estate service, technology and best practice training, combined with her passionate desire and ability to contribute to the team and advance the brand, make her ideally suited to the role of Franchise Services Manager.

Ron Brooks – Director, Raine & Horne TAS

Ron is a qualified surveyor with vast experience in the development and marketing of land subdivisions. Upon entering the real estate industry some twenty years ago, he quickly established himself as a star performer, specialising in Tasmania’s Kingborough Municipality. After Ron purchased the state franchise for Raine & Horne in Tasmania, which at the time comprised one Hobart city office, Ron steadily built the Hobart office into two prominent operations, one for residential and one for commercial sales, as well as establishing or rebadging offices in Sorell, Kingston, Rosny Park, Launceston and Devonport. In 2006, Ron sold his interest in the two city franchises, whilst retaining the franchise for the state. Along with business partner Chris Weston (R&H South Australia), Ron also purchased a substantial nationwide office in Darwin, rebadged and set about re-establishing the Raine & Horne brand in the Northern Territory. This business is now ranked number two in both Darwin and the Raine & Horne National Awards. Ron remains active in Darwin’s day-to-day management as well as pursuing a number of sub-divisional projects.

James Trimble – General Manager, Raine & Horne South Australia

With a comprehensive background in both front office residential sales and real estate franchising, James can help add value to your business.
Beginning in late 1999, his career took him across three prominent London real estate businesses across some of the most desirable of parts of South West London. After a successful track record, James moved to a leading UK based real estate franchise group, where he headed up their franchise growth, latterly becoming a Director and Board Member. During his time there he opened over 50% of the offices you see today, before taking a role with Raine & Horne group.
Initially based in Sydney, James looked after a number of the offices north of the Harbour Bridge and into regional NSW. Here he grew the network into new and exciting areas such as Cowra, Parkes, Carlingford, Avalon Beach and Palm Beach before moving over to South Australia as General Manager and bringing his wife back home to Adelaide with their three young children.
Based out of our South Australia Corporate office on Dequetteville Terrace, James is focused on growing the Raine & Horne network into new and exciting suburbs across Adelaide and beyond, giving our agents access to leading products like Amplify and Digikit to take their business to a whole new level.

Randolph Clements – Managing Director, Raine & Horne VIC 

Randolph commenced his real estate career in 1975 with EJ Doherty, and within two years he owned his own office, followed by another three offices by the age of 30. At this point in his career Randolph first made moves to become a shareholder and director of the Doherty franchisor company. Now with 38 years in the business, the past 17 of which have been as Master Franchisor for the Raine&Horne Network in Victoria, Randolph has opened multiple real estate offices and has seen and ridden the ups and downs of the property market and the Australian economy. Randolph credits his success to his parents, who put him through a solid education and provided him with the advice needed to develop the determination to start a business from scratch and build the respect that is shown to him in the Victorian real estate industry today. day-to-day management as well as pursuing a number of sub-divisional projects.
